bf aftrACTION BOOTCAMP is an hour of outside, crazy fun exercises. Master Trainer Megan pushes me without making me mad. She cares not only about me for that hour at “boot-camp” three days a week, but also what I do and eat while not there. She pushes me to do “cardio” and eat healthy. She really cares about me and how I feel. As of today I’m down to about 160 lbs and wearing a size 10. I want to cry writing that because that is the smallest I’ve ever been since High School.

rumi I loved that I got to work out with others. I worked out with a group of people who were motivated which encouraged me a lot. And the instructor Megan was very encouraging and always showed that you cared about us! I have gained muscle, lost fat, and got too used to working out everyday. I’ve also learned how to eat right. Working out is part of my life now. I got habit of working out everyday! My experience has been a lot better than I thought. It’s hard in the beginning but you’ll start loving it!

jasonsmithMy favorite thing about boot camp is the friendly atmosphere (despite how early it is and how cranky I can be) and the confidence that it builds. My endurance and agility have increased dramatically. I started in January 2008. At that time, my goal was to lose 20 lbs and strengthen my knee. I have achieved both of these goals and continue to set new ones. I’ve learned how to watch what I eat and how to build strength and endurance. I have also learned a variety of new exercises which break the monotony of old fashioned push ups and sit ups. Boot camp is not what I expected. I initially joined to spend more time with my wife (due to my busy schedule) and because I needed to get in better shape. However, boot camp has been far more diverse than I anticipated.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I started. I have never lost weight quickly, it always takes a lot of work to get each pound off. The first few days were tough, I had a headache and ran low on energy. However, after a few days, I started to get used to it, and it was much easier. It was very motivating to know that I had a group of people who were also doing it and that Megan was doing it with us. I knew I wasn’t doing it alone. The cleanse was what I needed to kick start my body and now I know that many of the things I thought I couldn’t live without, I can and I actually don’t miss them. I recommend this program to anyone who wants to kick start their metabolism and, as Megan told me, to become a fat-burning machine instead of a fat-storing machine. pounds started dropping off, it was encouraging to stay on track

beth-Bbeth-AWhen I joined Action Boot Camp I needed someone to hold me accountable for what I eat and to be consistent in my workouts. I had joined a gym, but was not going on a regular basis. Megan will definitely hold you accountable to your fitness and weight/fat loss goals. When I started Action Boot Camp, I could barely run a quarter mile without being out of breath. It has always been one of my goals to run a 5k. As of July ‘09 I have completed a 5k and an 8k run and plan to run a half marathon in October! Thanks Megan for helping me attain my goal! She makes the class fun, pushes you to work to your full potential, and you meet great people at the camps, also!

Suzie FWhen I first started going to Action Boot Camps I was just looking to tone up for a trip to Australia for a friend’s wedding. I was just going to do a month and that was it.  In one short month I lost 15lbs (and I didn’t think I had 15lbs to loss), 4 inches in my waist, and lost 5% body fat. And I am beginning my seventh month!

I have made some great friends and learned not just what foods are best but when to eat them and how much. The workouts are fantastic, They are the perfect combination of  cardio and weight training. Megan keeps the workouts flowing and moving quickly. She keeps you motivated and on track at the same time makes it a fun place to be. You don’t have thoughts of dread about going because  the trainer yells at you and has no sense of humour.  I can’t say enouugh good things about this training. I am so glad I found it!
